In just the last few years EV charging stations have become more convenient in most areas, so you can easily charge when you travel about. Using the myChevrolet Mobile App with Energy Assist you can search for a public charging station near you to make things even easier. When it comes to charging you have a couple different charging options for your electric vehicle. These options offer some versatility depending on where you are, but can also be confusing, let’s explore your charging options.
The standard 120 volt, which comes from a normal 3-prong outlet and will offer about 4 miles of range per hour of charge.*
240-Volt Charging Unit, which is available at some charging stations and can be professionally installed at your home, which offers 25 miles of range per hour of charge time.*
DC Fast Charging, what you might find at some charge stations, offers up to 100 miles of range in about 30 minutes of charge time.*
