As capable as its gas-powered sibling, the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV suits drivers seeking an eco-friendly full-size truck. Standard four-wheel drive and three powertrain configurations make it easy to customize this model for work or heavy-duty play.

Introducing the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV

The 2025 Silverado EV is one of the most versatile full-size trucks. Its greatest advantage is the relatively compact exterior that optimizes it for daily driving, while its big-truck attributes remain intact, meaning it can haul and tow like a champ. You can choose between two trim levels offered in crew cab style with a 5’11” bed.

With the Extended Range battery pack, which is standard on both trim levels, you get a driving range of up to 408 miles. An available Max Range battery delivers up to 460 miles, which is plenty of range for un-stressful road trips. Regardless of the battery you choose, the Silverado EV is fast-charging capable, with about 10 minutes of DC charging adding up to 100 miles.

Electrifying Performance

Each trim level of the new Silverado EV uses a four-wheel drive system with an electric motor on each axle. This layout provides massive power and excellent traction on all surfaces. The base trim is perfect for work and heavy-duty towing, offering 765 pound-feet of torque and up to 645 horsepower in Wide Open Watts mode. This kind of power translates to a towing capacity of 12,500 pounds and 1,800 pounds of payload capacity.

Greater power comes from the RST model. More suitable for off-roading, this trim outputs 785 pound-feet of torque with the Extended Range battery or 760 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque if you opt for the Max Range battery.

Utility and Convenience

Much more than a hauler, the 2025 Silverado EV brings versatility along for the ride. The spacious bed offers plenty of room for bulky cargo and boasts a MultiFlex tailgate that you can lock in various positions to accommodate extra-long loads or turn into a makeshift workbench if you need a flat work surface or a desk.

A MultiFlex midgate is also available, allowing you to gain extra length by expanding the bed into the cabin. You can also customize the truck with a bedside utility wall for easier cargo management.

Comfort and Infotainment

Inside the SUV-like cabin, you and your passengers can enjoy comfortable rides through town or across the highway. Evotex seating surfaces keep the cabin easy to clean and give it a sporty look.

The front seats feature 12 power adjustments with driver’s side memory and are heated and ventilated. The rear seats are also heated, keeping your passengers toasty throughout the long winters. Connectivity comes from a 17.7-inch center touchscreen with Google apps and smartphone integration.
